The Gallery

Galeria Estação, dedicated to reveal and promote the production of Brazilian non-erudite art was inaugurated at the end of 2004 by Vilma Eid and Roberto Eid Philipp and holds a collection among the pioneers and most important of the country. The gallery was decisive for the inclusion of this language in the contemporary artistic circuit, when editing publications and performing individual and collective exhibitions under the watch of the main curators and critics in Brazil.

The cast, which has come to occupy space in the specialized media, is winning the international scene, by participating in exhibitions such as "Histoire de Voir" at the Fondation Cartier pour l'Art Contemporain (France) in 2012, and at the Biennial "Between two Mares - São Paulo | Valencia " in Spain in 2007, among others. Emblematic of this international performance was the individual exhibition of Veio - Cícero Alves dos Santos, in Venice in a parallel to the 2013 Biennial.

In Brazil, in addition to solo exhibitions and to prestigious collectives, the artists represented by the gallery are featured in important private collections as well as in leading institutions, such as Pinacoteca of the State of São Paulo Afro Brazil Museum, São Paulo, the Pavilion of Brazilian Cultures, São Paulo, Itaú Cultural Institute, São Paulo, SESC São Paulo, as well as in MAM - Museum of Modern Art and MAR both in Rio de Janeiro.
