29 April to 2 May 2010, at the Biennial Pavilion at Ibirapuera Park - São Paulo
SP Arte 2010
The International Art Fair in São Paulo (SP-ARTE) commemorates its sixth edition with the participation of 80 galleries specialised in modern and contemporary art from several countries (representing over 1,500 works of famous artists and young talents). The curators are those of famous private collections and museums, including those of the Tate Modern (England), Malmö Konsthall (Sweden), Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo – MUAC (Mexico), Museo de Arte de Lima – MALI (Peru) and the Museo de Arte Conteporáneo de Castilla y León – MUSAC (Spain).
The event once again shows a project for artistic intervention called SP-Arte/Specific which was inaugurated in 2009, and through which artists from different nuclei promote intervention in the architectural space of the pavilion, including ramps and escalators.
